Well...


The Box is the best thing on this site in my opinion.

I've played moar fumbbl games than any other human on this planet.

So while I could be wrong, I wouldn't bet on it.

Box if you have a pair!

garyt1... Have you looked at stats?

Killers are not disproportionate winners.

Pixel huggers complain, but it's really not an issue.

So since most people are pixel huggers... what's with all the whining that people don't want to play Box? What's happening must surely be the natural (and inevitable) outcome to the Box experiment then. Or?

edit: if it was unclear, I'll rephrase it. If dropping Box games is what's prompting rules changes, how is the attitude behind those changes not really an issue? Smile

@Bill and Jimmy; Do you actually know how statistics work? Due to the fact that the bashers make up the biggest part of Box (nurgle/chaos/CD combined played over 25% of the games according to koadah stats), it is normal that the win rate is closer to 50% than of the races that occur less (chaos alone played more games than all the elf teams combined).

If you want easy wins, you make a well build CPOMB team... but I guess your "kill-all-menz"-attitude is more important... Good job.

One of the problems with Blackbox, is that all these 'anti'-threads make for a self-fulfilling prophesy.

Things tick along, then people see these threads pop up and people who were going to play in there decide not to, more and more do the same and suddenly all the coaches that would make it a more flexible environment are playing elsewhere.

The number of times people admit to having been scared off the box, try it and say it was nothing like they feared is amazing.

I suspect if these box bashing threads all ceased for a while, life in the box would be dandy.

I still however think the anti-min-max change caused as many problems as it fixed, but that's a whole other issue.
