As the official historian of ranked majors I trodded into my study, groaned that coaches were to lazy to look things up themselves and plopped down in my comfy chair.

Pulled out the UI IX prediction thread and found out for you.

The dusty tome of UI history had this recorded on page 6 of the UI IX thread.
"1890 last one to miss light, 1710 last one to miss dark if i remember right (PC announced them in irc)"

As with all things historical sometimes the facts are fuzzy but you get an idea of were the TV cut off was for UI IX.

I kept delving further into the rich history of the UI and found this for a more analytical look at the TV ranges for the UI.

Inside the Tome of UI History I found this on page 4 of the UI VIII thread

lowest / average / highest:

Light: 1740 / 2052.6 / 2480
Dark: 1660 / 2071.7 / 2710

Those were the TV ranges for UI VIII qualifing.

Most of my teams have taken a beating recently in other tournaments, but I have some boring, old dwarves that are ready. If a bit light in the TV department.
