I mentioned this in another thread but thought I would start its own here....
One thing that has always bugged me is that Dwarf and Zons can not play each other fairly at lower levels. Currently, there are some good rules implemented in leagues for stunties to play Dwarfs. But in genral the mechanic of tackle entire cancelling dodge has always seemed a little over the top to me. A skill that is a double to take for a lot of teams players is countered by a general skill or even a starting skill in the case of Dorfs. This seems like a big design flaw in the game to me.
What if the skill were changed so it acted similarly to wrestle? When a player with tackle blocks somebody down with the Pow/Dodge symbol they are placed prone with no armor roll. As normal, tackle would still prevent the reroll on any dodge roll..
What does everyone think? Yay,Nay? Would elves and Zons be too tough then? |

No. If anything Tackle should be buffed to have some utility other than an extremely narrow counter. |

No, altering it just to make an already OP low tv team of zons even safer doesn't make much sense to me. Besides, no one plays against dorfs anyway  |

the problem is not tackle the problem are DORFS, nobody over 145 CR should be alowed to pick them, or linos should be 70K |
