Yeah I heard that yesterday too! Eduardo is my alter ego. They keep going on about how good certain sides are, until I listened to more I didn't realise how ingrained tournament play was, I thought most people played perpetual leagues. The list he read from is Tomays (I think) from earlier in this thread. |

Preface: personal opinion ahead!
Tournament play is generally considered to be the defacto method of TT. Leagues, coaches and teams come and go and I don't think you'll find the same perpetuality of play anywhere else other than fumbbl (and more specifically SWL). Perhaps because they come and go with RL, it makes tournament play much easier to participate in.
I like TT tournaments, and that's no lie. |

No disagreement from me.
I used to play a league with some mates from high school. I discovered fumbbl.
That is all I have ever played. I knew about tournaments but until I started listening to podcasts I had no idea how ingrained they were.
in the email I wrote I was very clear I was talking about a perpetual league, they mentioned it at the start, but seemed to forget in telling me i was wrong to put chaos #1 or zons & Norse low, all based off tourney results |
