(In the UK at least) Rules of a game aren't protected by any form of IP.
However, the rulebook would protected by copyright. Hence, it should be fine to re-write rules, provided that you don't just copy the wording from the rulebook verbatim. There are various exceptions (for the purposes of education, parody, etc) that would permit this.
Best not to risk it though. |

For some teams i usually used to run journeymen and only fill the team with rookies if i got money to replace all linos and 12th player (i usually replaced positionals if they made difference in game).
For Skaven i think i bought 5 linos at once when i could afford (team had really rough start but thrower rolled +ag and i got other decent rolls so i chose to stick with that team despite many injuries and deaths.. it's fine now but the road was long and bumpy).
I think one can't just save up over 200k and replace every journeyman at once.
Especially for elf teams (woodies especially) this can means harder times for sure.
So i expect rebuiding becoming harder with EM. |

What about those that are scheduled, but not readied? I guess that that are scheduled and readied will not get unreadied? |

Well there is no speculation going on now.
The opening round match of the UI between the Blood Sea Buccaneers and Humphrey and the show will have massive inducement madness now.
Buccaneers are sitting on 1.18 MILLION gold and Humphrey is sitting on 860K in Gold. There is no reason for either team to take the chance so might as well blow their gold wad in one massive inducement purchase madness game. |
