This thread should be used for all questions regarding the first season of the Northern Wastes League. Also, if you could post your draft order that would be very helpful.

Please note that I will be using today's CR to base the draft order (so no fair trying to lose all your ranked games this weekend!)

I thought about posting a link to the group, but since the first season is by invite only....I thought that would seem like I am advertising for open enrollment.
Here is my draft list:
1) Dwarf
2) Chaos
3) Wood Elf
4) Human
5) Skaven
6) Chaos Dwarf
7) Norse
8} Lizardmen
9) Nurgles
I hope that is enough For those folks with high CR, you should list at least six picks and have them be from the different types of races allowed (i.e., basher, baller, betweener) |

ooh - you can't play for both sides fool!
Anyways, I do actually have a relevant point to make here.
We admins in SWL have a hotmail account specifically setup for league correspondence (ours is swladmin@hotmail.com).
We use it for players writing emails for extensions, so they can give us updates on the organisation of troublesome games, enquiries of a more private nature, and also draft preferences. This stops stuff like that cluttering up the main forum, which we found meant that any league announcements didn't get swamped so much. I highly recommend it.
I have to say though, I hate the idea of basing draft pick on CR beyond this initial draft (don't know if its intended to go any further) - CR is far too poor a measure IMO. Far better would be to do it based on NWL status (from lowest to highest who apply for the draft), with newbies seeded through at random. |

chunky04: I like your suggestion and I think we will implement something like that in the near future for contacting the admins. For now, I won't mind flooding the forum a bit just to get the name out there. Hopefully people will see and dream of how they would like to join starting in season 2 |
