Hey,
I am looking for a little discussion on +2 movement on a Human Catcher.
I have a human catcher with +1 movement and he just rolled a 10 (no doubles) for another +1 movement.
My thoughts are that while +2 movement would be great he really does not need it.
10 movement will put him way out on his own with a big (even bigger) target on his chest. I am leaning towards block to increase his survivabiliy.
Any thoughts |

Taking any skill puts a big target on the player. If I have the chance to take out a player with block vs no block, I'd foul the later.
Oh, and Shadow is wrong. Humans can only win if they have a one turn scorer. Otherwise it's impossible at TR 110+ |

Two reasons. When I was writing my post and choosing the poll options I pretty much reasoned in my head that a move 10 guy is probably going to get block sooner or later anyway. The movement is not what makes him a target it is the STR 2. Just about anybody can hit him solo.
I am impatient and did not want to wait for the poll I guess. LOL

Well the results of the poll confirmed my decision so I am happy with it.
If you think skill roll questions are a waste of time then do not read them. The title of the post was +2 movement on a human catcher. I only expected comments from someone that was interested in reading about +2 movement on a human catcher.
It is simple enough to look up how skill rolls are taken statistically. I enjoy reading the reasoning behind other coaches skill choices that I find in these skill roll posts.
Usually, like now the discussion involves long term team and player developement and not just the individual skill. |

If he gets sprint he is a one-turner... Any one-turner that is not a GR is quite cool, though... |

If people set up properly against one turners, their TD is by no means guaranteed. Scoring on one turn is indeed great fun, even without sarcasm. |

/me agrees
In particular those that involve at least one chainpush. |

With a good defense a 3ag one turn TD is hard, even with good chain pushes to remove some of the GFIs.
Still worth the try though.
