The mission began back on the 12th December 2005, almost 5 years ago. The now legendary necromantic team Schmerztal Darkbones, coached by Burnalot, vowed to raise a zombie from every position from every race allowed under LRB4; a total of 65 different players.


After 1051 games, the team has remained true to its vow to only buy golems (never wights, wolves or ghouls) and to only raise zombies, not to buy them. Furthermore, the team has never fielded a star player, just hired and fired to dump cash. Along the way, the Darkbones managed to win the first Necromantic XFL, and to put themselves at the top of the all time casualty list, with 864 kills.

The first positional claimed was Fray Angelico, a humble, unsuspecting chaos beastman.

The last needed, was a wood elf thrower - not the easiest of targets to hit, but Wumpa, from Willys, the famous anti-pickers coached by Sr_Nadie, was the unsuspecting elf raised to eternal glory as the finishing touch to a magnificent achievement.

Burnalot's triumph of imaginative team management will probably never be equalled in Blood Bowl. Burnalot, we salute you!
