Guide to CIBBL Rolling

Star Players

Each time a star player receives a permanent injury (niggle, stat bust or dead), their private apothecary needs to see if they can heal them.

Roll a D6 and consult the following table

RollOutcome
1-4Healed
5Roll again on table below
6Dead

RollOutcome
1,2,5,6-AV
3,4-MA
5-AG
6-ST

If healed, post the word healed in the cibbl-rolling channel.

If a stat bust, find the player in the ruleset. The easiest way to do this is to find the race who hired the star (from this list) and then find the star in their list of stars in the bottom right corner. Adjust their stats to reflect the new injured value and adjust their cost as follows. For -MA/-AV, reduce cost by 30k; for -AG, reduce cost by 40k; for -ST, reduce cost by 50k.

If dead, find the player in the ruleset. The easiest way to do this is to find the race who hired the star (from this list) and then find the star in their list of stars in the bottom right corner. Set their cost to 999999k. In discord, go to #dead-stars and post a link to the game in which the death took place.

If the star is permanently injured or dead, they also need updating in the star player spreadsheet. Go to the star_players tab and adjust the stats and price of an injured star or delete the row of a dead star (right click on row number in far left of row and select delete row).

Malal Teams

Any time a player has been killed by this team, there is a chance they could join the team unless they are Undead or a Daemon. Discuss in discord if unsure if this applies.

Roll a D6 and consult the following table

RollOutcome
1They remain dead
2-5They can join the team. The player needs to be created in the roster (linked below) as the basic form of that player (with no gained skills or stats). Make sure to include the player icon and player art. These can be replaced later if the Malal coach wishes but get something in place now. Set the cost to 0. Notify the coach to hire them and make sure they use the same name as the dead player. When the player has been hired, set the cost in the ruleset to the correct cost for the base player. Find the newly hired player in the Malal team and change their SPP to reflect the dead player's SPP. Then press magic fix. This may generate some skill rolls assuming the dead player had skilled. Ask the coach to select skills that match the skills on the dead player. These can be altered if the dead player had double skills or stat increases by using the edit skills button. Make sure any injuries (stat busts/niggles) pass over to the new player too. Press magic fix and compare the new player to the dead player. They should be identical in all stat, skill and injury aspects.
6Ascension. The player becomes a Beast of Malal. Create a new player in the ruleset (linked below) called "Beast of Malal". It should have these skills: Loner, Really Stupid, Regenration, Claw, No Hands, Thick Skull, Foul Appearance,Sure Feet and a stat profile of 6-5-1-8. S/GAP skill access. Set cost to 0. Notify the coach to hire them and make sure they use the same name as the dead player. When the player has been hired, set the cost in the ruleset to 140000. Find the team and press magic fix.

Spawn of Chaos Teams

Once a player on a Spawn of Chaos team has completed a skill roll, roll a D6. On a roll of 6, that player evolves. On a 1-5, nothing happens.

If a player evolves, look at their current form and advance them to their next evolution.

Forsaken of KhorneSpawn of ChaosGreater Spawn (Blood Beast)Daemon Prince
Forsaken of SlaaneshSpawn of ChaosGreater Spawn (Fire Wyrm)Daemon Prince
Forsaken of NurgleSpawn of ChaosGreater Spawn (Beast Of Nurgle)Daemon Prince

Note that only one Daemon Prince may be rostered at any one time. The coach can fire a currently rostered Daemon Prince if they have the option to roster one due to a Greater Spawn evolving

Use this link to create a new 0-1 player in the roster (linked below). Set cost to 0 and tell the coach to hire the player and use the same name as they previously had. Once hired, change the cost to reflect the true value and press magic fix on the team page. Retire the previous form of the player.

Daemons of Tzeentch Teams

If a pink horror dies, they split into two blue horrors which the coach can hire for free. These blue horrors retain all of the SPP, skills, stat increases and injuries that the pink horror had.

Set the cost of blue horror in the ruleset to 0 and notify the coach to hire two blue horrors. Once they have been hired, reset cost in ruleset to 40000.

Find the new blue horrors in the team page and set their SPP equal to that of the dead pink horror. Press magic fix on the team page and this should generate skill rolls. Ask the coach to select skills the same as the dead pink horror. You may need to change these manually using the edit skills button. Make sure any injuries the pink horror had are reflected on both of the new blue horrors. Press magic fix again and check that the skills/injuries/SPP on the new blue horrors match those on the dead pink horror and that any skill ups are included. There may be a skill cost discrepancy as pink horrors have different skill access to blue horrors. Eg, block on a pink horror would cost 20k, on a blue horror it would be 30k. This is to be expected.
