Wow that was weird. What is the sport? At first I thought it was football (wasnt rugby), but then I noticed it wasnt...

Anyhow some of the lads had great grappling skills :D

it's "compromise rules", a mixup of aussie rules football and gaelic football. the two games have a similar skill set so it seemed a good idea. however it seems to descend into chaos every time. fairly poor to watch. Main difference between the original two sports (apart from the shape of the pitch (oval vs rectangular) and the scoring (1/3 vs 1/3/5) is that the AFL is pro, whereas the GAA is amateur, as in all the irish players have regular jobs and train on their time off. they still won the last series though :) Incidentally, a report by the independent newapaper in the UK into fitness levels in the English premiership (soccer) compared Chelsea (professional top grade football club) to Armagh (amateur GAA county-level team; i.e. top level), and found the amateurs doing more fitness training (in hours per week) and having way better fitness levels all round (cardio/breathing/etc).
