G.I.N.A.S.F.S.
This pretty much covers it.

Kinda thought it went without saying in the 21st Century but apparently not.

As much as I agree with the general idea and fight against discrimination, "gay" IS kinda related to "shitty" if you keep in mind it's referring - at least for men - to sexual practices revolving around... your ass. :)

But yeah, that's a lame insult. It shouldn't be insulting at all actually.

Extending that reasoning, one could conjecture that shitty is not a synonym for bad, sir, as dung has many uses beyond mere fertilizer or putting in brown paper bags to light on fire on your neighbour's doorstep. Please consider these facts before using such coprophobic terminology in the future.

In many parts of the developing world, and in the past in mountain regions of Europe, caked and dried cow dung is used as fuel. Dung may also be collected and used to produce bio-gas to generate electricity and heat. The gas is rich in methane and is used in rural areas of India and Pakistan and elsewhere to provide a renewable and stable source of electricity.

In central Africa, Maasai villages have burned cow dung inside to repel mosquitos.

In cold places, cow dung is used to line the walls of rustic houses as a cheap thermal insulator. Cow dung is also an optional ingredient in the manufacture of adobe mud brick housing depending on the availability of materials at hand.

Fun fact: On April 21, 2001 Robert Deevers of Elgin, OK set the record for cow chip throwing with a distance of 185 feet 5 inches

Yak dung is Tibet's black gold. No tree grows at this altitude, and it's pretty much the only thing they can use to make a fire. They indeed dry it on their house walls - I can't confirm however it works as a thermal insulator. The yaks stay on the first flour at night, which provides some natural heat for the people living upstairs.

Strangely, I haven't seen dung used that way in the other two countries at this altitude (Peru and Bolivia) - probably because they raise lamas instead, who do not produce enough crap (pretty much like goats).

I bet Fumbblers would make awesome cow chip throwing athletes.
Imagine the practice we have with this kind of thing, no record would be safe!

I came across a statistic once, claiming that actually oral sex is much more practiced among homosexual men than any other form. *shrug*

Admittedly i can feel very uncomfortable when seeing homo-/ bisexual men kissing in the subway or something. But i dont like that sort of trash talking.

Looking up stuff at the "urban dictionary" makes me feel like an alien wanting to leave the planet most of the time anyway.

Gina is a nice name however.

Because of its connotation to people, it's insulting and shouldn't be used, I agree. There are other examples. A friend has a child with Downs' Syndrome and is hyper-sensitive to people calling something 'retarded'. So we do our best not to use the term, even when we're not around him. Ironically though, a phrase that's at least as insulting to me is 'Jesus Christ', which the friend uses frequently in the same manner. But I only very occasionally say anything, because I'm a big boy and can handle bad feelings from time to time. What's good for the goose, as they say.
