Background
Tired of smack talk? Bored of BowlBot? Longing for more than Looking For Game? Want to take part in a tournament anyone can enter anytime, no questions asked? Then it's time to start Brawling.

Brawls are semi legal 'street' Bloodbowl tournaments. For the Competitive division teams that don't want to be judged for the bling they carry. Brawls are for teams that just want to tear it up, against all comers and see who is standing at the end.

So if you want in, you can have in.

But don't say you weren't warned.

Eligibility
Any Competitive Division team may apply. Coaches may enter as many teams as they like but will be sorted into a Hi, Mid or Lo bracket (see below). CAUTION: coaches should limit the number of teams they enter according to how many games they would be able to schedule and play in a week.

Format
Brawls are a weekly drawn tourney and will be run on the KotH system, meaning the second round pairing will be generated randomly after the first round is complete. Tournaments will be drawn on Wednesdays.

A brawl will consist of 8 teams. The draw will follow this process:

1. Teams at or above 1805 TV will be placed in the Hi bracket while those at between 1405 and 1800 TV or below will be entred into the Mid bracket while all those 1400 and lower TV will be entered into the Lo bracket. Please note: Teams are assigned brackets based on Team Value, NOT Current Team Value.

2. To ensure no coach has two teams drawn in the same brawl, the lowest TW-valued team(s) of coaches who have entered many teams will not be considered for the draw if they have entered more teams than the maximum possible number of brawls for that draw.

3. Deadline for every round is on Wednesday. The first round deadline is always one week from the draw date, which will always be a Wednesday.

4. Teams entered for over a month and not receiving a draw will be booted from the partipant pool. This is to ensure my sanity and make sure you don't get doublebooked. Starting after 1 Feb 2024, this will change to: Teams with coaches who have been noticed to be away from the site more than a week or so will be booted from the participant pool. This is an attempt to optimize the quality and quantity of games played for everyone.

>>Note: At the moment we draw by date (first come, first serve) when there are more teams eligible than are needed.<<
