Seasons will be split into halves, 6 games each. You have three weeks to complete all required matchups in each half. After that, a 3 game tournament will wrap the season. If you do not complete games by 12am 3 week deadline, both teams will score loss points for unplayed games.
Current Rules:
1. Win-Draw-Loss League Points: 3-1-0
2. No League point penalties for concession,but normal MVP penalties to SPP.
3. Expensive Mistakes rule in place (pg. 25 of DZ1&2).
4. No changes to skills or inducements (no wizard, cards as normal).
5. Turn limit 4 minutes. Plesae enforce time-out to limit turns to 4 minutes.
Top 4 teams after 12 games go to finals. Position 1 seeded with position 4, and 2 with 3. All finals games have overtime (sudden death rules), and if no scoring, winner decided by die roll.
Emergency Cash Infusion: If you suffer intense losses in the first 2 games (e.g. 2-3 niggling injuries/deaths), you can appeal to the commissioner (me) for leniency and a bonus cash infusion, authorization and amount to be determined by circumstance. The Commissioner can appeal his team for emergency cash from the assitant Commissioner (David).
