“Finally a match were the opposition fought hard and valiantly! After a touchback Hans the chaos dwarf had a hard time bringing in the ball for the first TD, but the dark elves could not hold back the horde in the end. They managed a very nice defence for the first half of the first half ;o) , but then they were sorrounded by the Diamonds and Hans finally managed to score. In the last part of first half the elves had no real chance of scoring. Only one casualty in first half, by none other than Black Diamond on his first block.
Second half had the elves recieving and starting an offence. They played risky and a failed dodge by Talice the witch elf left the ball carrier open. The ball was pried loose and guarded by the bulls, but Malaggar - a very agile elf - managed to pick up the ball and throw a very long pass to Malice the witch elf close to the end zone. Two hobgoblins charged in and knocked her down, the ball on the ground. Talice jumped up and rushed to throw away the hobgoblin covering the ball and pick it up herself. Xalins skill at stripping the ball came in handy and Xukar - one of the most agile hobgoblins ever seen - picked it up and threw it to T'yargs. He was knocked down after some poor defence by a dwarven blocker, but the Diamonds managed to secure the ball and T'targs could run in the ball for the second TD. A very exciting second half with daring moves and brilliant ball play.
