“An ugly game for me, and not one I'm proud of. My star catcher decided to miss the match (It Wasn't Me) and then I kicked off, only to have it returned for a one-turn TD. Then I suffered a blitz which resulted in going another TD down. After that I went slow and steady for a few turns, but with cultofspeed's fans having got the ref at the start of the half and him having a dirty player, my wardancer was soon killed... (once again, thank you apo).

After that, I'm ashamed to say I stalled, finally getting a badly hurt against his dirty player and a touchdown in turn 8.

And then I really felt I had no option but to delay again until I could get rid of his one-turners (he has two), so I stalled for the whole half, desperately trying to get rid of them, but to no avail. I had to score and leave him a final turn...

His fans then threw a rock and made a huge hole in my back line defence, and his star gutter runner got the ball... only to miss the hole and fail a dodge twice on the way in further along the line!

I guess it was a lapse of concentration as I was sure the game was lost, but whatever the reason, I managed to scrape a draw from an awful mess of a game.

I must apologise to cultofspeed for stalling all game. I'm only glad we didn't kill each other's players (more than once) and justice was served by me failing to get any winnings for the second game in a row.”
