“This is a match to remember for the Fighting Hellfish.
Against one of the highest ranked coaches on Fumbbl, against a high ranked Chaos with an awesome record of 14/1/2, the team pulled out an incredible performance in terms of attention and courage.
To be honest, I think this is one of my best played games ever.
In the first half sk8bcn deployed his cage and slowly moved towards our end zone, pretty confident in his ST4 Warriors and beasts. But the Hellfishes were not scared of his horny (and horned) guys, so they attacked the cage, and thanks to their superior guards forced the ballcarrier to retreat. Once the cage was busted, I tried not to let sk8bcn create another one. I put tacklezones everywhere and used my stand firm-guard and my quick catchers to reach the ballcarrier and stick to him.
In the end, I could take the ball and after a rather (and lucky) action my blitzer could score in turn 8 the well deserved 1-0!! Wohooooooo
I started second half receiving and leading 1-0, but two blitzers were BHed and I only had 10 players on the pitch. I tried to attack on the side, but I left a hole for sk8bcn's claw blitzer.... I was quite scared, but his failed dodge (with cas and apo used) made me feel a bit more confident. Once again, my Stand Firmer and my Dauntless catcher did the job rather well, blitzing a hole and securing the ball for my rookie lino to score 2-0 and skill to 6 spps! WOHOOOOOOO I love this game!
With only 4 turns to go, game was lost for Chaos. He decided to score as fast as he could, while all I had to do was to step back and watch his hopeless plans to tie miserably fail. But that's BB, and when you are in Frenzy you can't stop that easy... I lured myself in a 1d block with reroll, resulting in a double skull RIP apo fail on my best lino... Dang! From that moment onwards I took good care not to hurt myself anymore, and I offered an easy Td to my opponent. But in the last unnecessary block Lady Pain came again... and took my StandFirm blitzer away from me. :(
He didn't deserve to die, as he was without doubt the MVP on my side! anyway... players come and players go, but the team is still intact and in shape. And I had a blast of a game.

Jan did a terrific job in countering me in half 1. I tried everywhere to reform a cage but he always continued to pressure me and in the end he took the ball away and scored.
I didn't found out what went bad in this half. so I started thinking about it and, finally I learned something more to the game.
what are my conclusions?
I play chaos with 7 players at str 4 or more. you play a guarding running team. in a cage battle, i loose my str advantage due to the guarding effect. I should have played you one on one and with a running game, denying you to take advantage from guard. putting the ball into a str 4 player, taking care of your unique dauntless guy, that should have been my tactic.
Lesson learned.
I still had hopes in half 2 at the very beginning by running an aggresive defense. I even though that the TZ from the str 4 will cause you a turn over but I failed the 2nd gfi despite using a reroll. Actually the sided offence+ TZ on your passer was the perfect defensive position I was hoping for. Failed. Things looked bad.
Well at turn 3 I had this chance to blitz but yes, you were right there I made a mistake. I had two choices. block to free the blitzer (need pow or pow explosion at 2 dices) and didn't got it. I rerolled this one (chances of succes for the reroll: 5/9). Stupid: the dodge + reroll was a 8/9 chances of succes. Ok: I deserved to fail. Thus deserved to loose.
As I said, I am trully unsatisfied with what I did in this one. I want to play this matchup again and try to win this time. You did very well.
