The Skinks were a well oiled position dominating team in this match. Some may argue that they had their run, but a team with less discipline could have made life a lot harder for themselves. Standout? This guy.

10 humans took the pitch after losing the toss and despite getting the chance to rethink their defence they were immediately down to 9 as Slilrl accidentally caught Eglandar while trying to do his warm up exercises. A couple of stuns from snake eyed GFIs and Brother Fernando KOd trying to get past the diving clutches of Eyeuieelinsh saw Ssghproo with enough time to recover his fumble and rumble over in the corner for the first.
Fernando was back on for the restart and straight back off (this time to stay) as S-lor'i charged into him but under pressure Colin Daniels managed to send the ball downfield to Johnny Beegod who ran straight through the outstretched arms of Slynn and scooted over to tie it up. However in a rare display of scoring fever the skinks were not to be denied and Eyeuieelinsh showed his versatility by breaking straight through the middle of the field, fending the hit by Jake Fluttery and getting over the line in turn 8 of the first half.
Butter fingers from Colin in the second half opened the field up for the lizards to roll forward as they surrounded the ball and gradually forced it forwards. Pssqghuiay was forced off the field after making the initial break and Ssghproo tried for a reprise of his first half effort but just couldn't manage to get the ball to stay in his clumsy fists. Llztl then took over the ball handling duties and if anything was worse, but eventually in the 7th turn he managed to get a hold of it. And once he had it he wasn't letting go. Trundling down field at an unsafe speed before belting Colin off the pitch as the thrower attempted a last ditch blitz he dove over in the far corner right on full time.
A hard fought game despite the humans being significantly shorthanded, the lizards were thrilled with their 3-1 win despite the lack of skills gained.

1 Point: #12 Jake Fluttery. Block and Tackle are always a handful for skinks and his kicking made the second touchdown a lot harder than hoped for.”
