“I needed a recovery game after the last mauling my guys got, even though that game was their first win in ages. This game I would have been happy with a draw, but it started with the boney fellas knocking me all over the place - plenty of pows and 1db pows leaving me on the floor, but they fell woefully short on the armour rolls, only getting 1 badly hurt in the 15th turn - no good to anyone wanting to compete vs Dwarves.

For my part, I KO'd more than is shown up there, and that pretty much decided the game - the Khemri, slow and with less numbers, made it easy for my slightly faster Dwarves to pull ahead with the ball, though my AG4 Blitzer earnt his keep picking the ball up in a TZ and dodging out again :)

Equal luck then? - well, ok, fair enough. I wasn't so successful on blocking/cas but KO's are good enough if you can withstand tough guys pounding on ya, and thankfully my guys did this time.

Credit to theSharp as a coach - most guys when confronted with a stall game tend to get stuck in with the fouls. I don't believe that would have been a wise choice as the Khemri had few enough players on the field already - no point in reducing them further for the chance of taking a guy or two out. His St4 Blitz-Ra was, I believe, the real menace - no way could I keep him down or contain him, whereas the mummies with 3 or 4ma found it hard to keep up.

A tough game. 1 TD each half, lots of blocks, hardly any cas.

Crap cash for the Khemri, 8SPP and -1FF make it a poor result for them - sorry - they deserved more out of that, but those cas dice just didn't play today - thankfully for me.

For my part, I get a couple of players back, lose no one, get 50k cash and skill up a runner, plus I get a first with this team.

2 wins on the trot.
