“ "..my armour.." - heard many times throughout the match by saurus, skink and even kroxigor

The reptiles from Censored Fungus -ask Admin were late for the match and took the field in fine form. Having played and beaten a Chaos Dwarf team before they were quietly confident.. this was not that match! We recieved the first kick, the skinks picked up the ball and things were looking good. Half way into the first half the ball went loose and amazingly, after some struggling, ended up in the claws of Milk Drops, our wonderfully stupid kroxigor. Great until you consider the amount of time left in the half and her habbit of spending a third to half a match standing around soaking up the sun and ambient heat from the opposition. Milk Drops blitzed her way up the field along with Best Boisy and his chums, to within yards of the endzone. It was at this point that things really seemed to turn around ( things hadn't quite been working already, not quite ). South Park Savages managed some remarkable defense with bull centaurs and chaos dwarf blockers sprinting up field and not giving Milk Drops much room to move, so, amazingly, she handed the ball to Best Boisy who had only one defender. Unfortunately, he was tackled just short of the line. So ended the first half.

The second started with us only able to field a shrunken team ( both numbers and size, with skinks filling in for a couple of saurus ). The kick off was the best we could hope for and we took South Park Savages by suprise and chased up the field and managed to recover the kick and score in the opening minutes. For us, the rest of the match was a slugfest that resulted in many bloodied skinks saurus and, late in the match, even Milk Drops. It was not our day. servitor 1 coached South Park Savages well and the squat buggers blocked like demons. We feel sure that there must have been some kind of armour piercing weapons on the field, but neither the refs or any of us spotted them.

Cheers to servitor 1 for a fabulous match. It was actually quite close. We are glad to have finished the match with players standing.

Next time there will be chaos dwarf blood staining the soil.


Coach's Note: It needs to be said that the ball handling skills shown today were excellent. I saw skinks picking up balls, picking them up in tackle zones and even saw Milk Drops catch a ball. This is obviously a turning point for us. Terror to all those that meet us in the future.
