The Stone Dogs, eager to finally get on the field, can't wait for their turn and take a Blitz! turn at the start of the game, with several Steelers hitting the turf and Mangin running under the ball, snatching it out of the air!
The Steelers, however, retaliate with an amazing series of blocks, catches and dodges, and Eingrim is far upfield holding the ball...
And runs in for an easy score when the lack of the block skill turns out to be fatal for the Dogs' linemen.
On their unintentionally long drive (due to Corman's incompetence in going for it and picking up the ball) the Dogs clear the pitch of 7 or 8 Steelers, helped by the crowd. Most of those were Ko's and they eagerly returned for the second half, much to the Dogs' annoyance.
A second half which was perhaps less spectacular, but nonetheless interesting. thingie.”
