Eager to undo the losses that their hubris had caused them in the second round, the Gentlemen stormed onto the pitch with avengeance. Rodney Skinner, arriving in his new incarnation was clearly keen to show his prowess, fatally wounding one of the Guard in the first few minutes, with only the skill of the High Elven apothecary keeping the poor elfling on the pitch.

Nevertheless, the elves put up a good fight, breaking through the ranks of the undead with a skill honed through centuries of practice. With an early touchdown in sight for the elves, in the end it took a failed dodge to break the elven rhythm, while a lightning fast play by Harker and Gray saw possession go to the Gentlemen. As the team zombies held the Guard back and as Dorian Gray sped up the side of the pitch it looked like the Elves would be playing catch up for some time.

It was at this point that Mr. Hyde and Dr. Jekyll went berserk.

6 KOs and 3 CAS later, the coaching staff had managed to subdue the angry beasts while a bewildered Dorian Gray stood despondantly next to the touchdown line wondering what on earth had caused the two team mummies to go on such a rampage. A touchdown ended the half.

For the rest of the game poor wakeup rolls and fumbles plagued the High Elf team. In turn 8 of the second half, with the scores 2-0, it looked like the elves had lost their fighting spirit. But a brilliant play by Rothandal, capitalising on an overeager block by Dr. Jekyll saw the elves retrieve at least some of the dignity their poor luck had lost them on the field.

// Good game, Iolo. Bad rolls there.. Good luck in the future :) //
