It was a nice game and a very nice report, which covers the match very well. The luck was quite equal and I wish you the best for your promising career, as a writer and a coach ;)

#3 Glassjaw Gary – Smashed Knee (NI)
Eleventeen entered the game cautious, but optimistic. Despite having just 11 players active for the game, the previous 3-0 win kept spirits high. The rookie apothecary races onto the field at the first sign of trouble, keeping Thrum from missing the game - but this was to have dire consequences later. Throughout the opening stanza, the Short but Fatal Females (SFF) hammered the Eleventeen linemen and blitzers. The ball can do funny things, and Bump the Blitzer scooped it up, found an opening and lobbed a wobbly pass to Glassjaw Gary who immediately converted for the first touchdown of the match.

Local wizards experimenting with weather spells changed the course of the match, as a major snowstorm arrived from a clear sky... Pink snow at that! SFF's minotaur, Mindy, promptly hurled Gary into the stands as he celebrated his touchdown, and Gary was hauled out with a fractured leg - disaster for the young catcher.

Thrower Bart Starwell took matters into his own hands, and blitzed Sara Sunshine, picking the ball up cleanly on one hop. He was immediately cut down, and the screaming fans hurled the ball deep into Eleventeen territory. The ball was grabbed by blitzer Kitzi, who couldn't see through the snow to find Freddy screaming for a long ball! Kitzi ended up chucking the ball wildly across the midfield line. SFF blockers destroyed the Eleventeen scrimmage line, and SFF scored easily.

The second half saw Starwell try to hook up with Freddy, but again the pink snow interfered, and the ball squirmed down four paces from the end zone. Freddy tried to find the ball, but it was in a snowdrift, and he couldn't dig it out before he was knocked on his ass. At this point, SFF turned up the heat, and Eleventeen players found themselves in the KO box. Kitzi left the game with a gouged eye. Bump created yet another opportunity for Freddy, but he was tripped up just five paces from his first touchdown.

SFF now had no difficulty possessing the ball, and steadily knocking out Eleventeen players, and strolling into the endzone at the end of the match to secure the 2-1 victory. Only four players were left on the pitch at full time for Eleventeen.

This match is a serious setback for Eleventeen, especially the niggling injury to Glassjaw Gary, who has scored all five touchdowns to date. The only consolation was the 80k take, which will allow more players to be bought to cover the injured. Once again, Kamikaze Ken demonstrated his nose for leadership, winning MVP.
