“Well, this was a tough match-up for the girls first match. Getting the kick and morley's revenge was a bonuse and we were thinking positive. Faced with a wall of ogres on the front line, and the best block we could possible make was a 2dice against, the girls tried to punch through the middle. Well, it went downhill from there. By the end of the first half we had 3 of our 4 bliters off the field along with a lineman, of which 2 where bh, our passer dead, and the ogres with a td. But towards the end of the half our luck was improving and we were hoping for better results second half.

Well ogres scored a 1 turn td with a sneaky goblin throw and pick up the ball to score, and so, once again we where faced with a wall of ogres, but this time we changed tactics, and took 2 2dice against blocks to push their star ogre, a hulking 6st beast off the field, si'ing him with a -av. And then pushed through for a td.

It was getting towards the end of the second half when a fumbled pickup of the ball by a goblin allowed us to charge half our remaining playings through the gaps (go morley's revenge) in their defence due to lack of players. There was a scrumble in the final turns, and despite not being able to knock a single goblin over (despite about 4 or5 blocks), we managed to get the ball and even the score on the last turn.

I think I may have scrambled the order of play up a bit, but it was a good game Dammo, and was unfortunate abou the -av on Life Ender..... but gee, with a name like that, who wouldn't try and get him off the field :)
