To be honest we threw this game away. The orcs win the toss and elect to recieve first. I kick the ball short and, joy of joys, we blitz. I gather the ball myself and take the opportunity to tie down as many MA6 orcs as possible. The orcs can't get the ball back so content themselves with bashing dwarfs. I use my BC to blitz the one remaining orc who can reach me to assist a potential block on the ball carrying hobbo, and run the hobbo towards the TD zone. I cover as many orcs as possible but there is still one who can reach me. My opponent blitzs the ball with a one dice pow, but he's used all his RR and it looks difficult to secure the ball. His thrower picks up, and bang, unleashes a long pass which is caught perfectly by a blitzer. The blitzer sprints deep into my half where it will be difficult to catch him. Damn!

I block an dwarf free so I can blitz the ball, however it'll require 2 GFI and he has block too. Nevertheless I will leave a TZ on the ball even if I don't knock him down. Unfortunatly a 1 RR'd into a 2 then another one leaves my dwarf on the floor and gives the orcs a chance to go 1-0 up. The orcs instead decide to TD delay and halt one square from the endzone. My BC rushes back to force the orcs to score in their next turn. The orcs decide to make all their block actions before scoring, even though they have no RR left. Predictably this results in double skulls. My BC rushes back to blitz the ball carrier, and I'm rubbing my hands with glee, until the one GFI I need is a double one (with surefeet). This time the orcs take no chances.

1-0 down

a predictable play by us gets a strong force of hobbo's into the opposing half, but a 2 dice block on a guard blitzer fails to knock him over and an excellent play by my opponent results in a chain push on the ball carrier of the pitch. The ball scatters kindly and I get the ball towards the orcs endzone. 1-1 is in sight. It's the final turn of the half and my opponent has d-skulled. I have a RR in hand, and a hobbo within easy scoring distance but of course he fails to pickup the ball. Great.

half time

The second half goes fairly predictably, we score in 3 leaving the orcs 5 turns to win the game. I get a blitz on the thrower who has the ball, but it's a one dicer (powskull) down we both go. The thrower picks the ball back up and throws to a blitzer, who misses the ball. Fortunatly for the jammy bastard the ball scatters back to the blitzer. I can't get the ball from the blitzer who runs into my half and scores leaving us insufficient time to equalize.
