My attack plans were struck by a Perfect Defence+Kick play by the Orcs, and I had to fight my way through with some nice dodges and a longbomb in order to score in turn three.
After that, the humans tried their best to stick to the orcs. They dodged like crazy, had a couple chances to get to the ballcarrier, and set up a tough defence. But the Orcs... well, the orcs took very few risks, proceeded with their solid gameplay and proceeded to smash *every-single-human* on their path to the End Zone.
The remnants of the Human defence proved useless in stopping the green avalanche, even if they tried everything and more. The defenders tried to put tackle zones everywhere and attacked the cage, obtaining the amazing result of suffering even more blocks than needed.
Terrific game against a very solid team who played well and left me little to no chance to get away with a win.
A fast offence by the Hellfishes was hard to stop, but after that it was all about the Orcs grinding their way up the field, against a very determined defence.
One Black Orc (who for his sake shall not be named) came up with more skulls than I care to remind him about, but the rest of the team seemed to find ease in removing humans from the field, and the Hellfishes even had to call their apoth to the field to revive their dead Ogre.
If ever a game reminded me why I enjoy Blood Bowl, this was it ... the iconic battle between Humans and Orcs. Two coaches enjoying a few jokes about the game as it progressed, and a hard fought draw which neither coach will be dissapointed with.
Good luck with the 400th game Jan, and i hope to get the chance to play the Hellfishes again before game 500!”
