“A hard, hard fought match. Dice were a bit rough early on and some early casualties made it a little harder than it could have been. Gladly both were bh so no real damage there.
Had a few shots at the ball carrier but the little fella had blodge and i was very very lacking in tackle. I've been running the team without tackle for a while now and i was surprised that the first time it came round to really bit me on the @$$ was when i was playing a dwarf team! 1-0 at half time and i still had players to field so i was quietly confident. However some good defending by steel and some retardation on my account combined to shaft my efforts. Down to 2-0 and it was looking grim. However the next drive was a little better and with some luck and no rerolls i managed to pull off a touchdown.
Some games are ones that you lose but you feel like you've won. This was one of them. The whole game was a constant struggle and heaps of fun.
Rematch anytime steel!”

Well, the dice were good to me and my blocking calls were good. It's hard to stop even slow dwarfs when most of your team is lying on their backs. We also packed a few surprises like dodging dwarfs for once, and it really made a difference. This was a fun game, and really the epitome of what gaming should be.
