#11 Nick Nack – Smashed Knee (NI)
The pesky rats kept the first half close until the last turn. After scooping up the loose ball following a blitz in turn 7, Dr. No needed only to leap a defender and run up to Oddjob for the handoff (in 2 tz's but with catch - I wasn't worried) and easy dodge to the end zone, but the Doctor crashed to the turf trying to land and dropped the ball in perfect position for the rats to pick it up and score. The game was going to be 2-1 either way, and Nuffle smiled on the rats this morning.

The second half went mostly this way: injury, injury, score, injury, injury, score, injury, injury, score. At least Blofeld was able to skill up in an ugly game. Poor Nick Nack suffered a second niggle, which leaves him ready for the scrap heap.

On the bright side, 50K in loot was waiting for the Fish Heads upon hobbling back to the locker room. Add a 1 in front of that figure and the Fish will be a team again!

A fun game from a great coach, I hope to take on Duke again.

The Rats lined up against the Elves, both knowing the other could score any time.

A quick exchange of TD early in the game led to a close first half.

The Elves had lost a niggle before the game though, and by half time had injuries.

So the second half was all about the Elves looking for any openings they could.

A good game against a fun coach, but as Luck% will show, Nuffle chose the Rats.
