Hmmm how obsessed with team development and fluffy twahnlow awards am I.. that is the question. This was a game that was a heap of fun against a mate in RL whos probably not into the whole thing as much as I am. Sadly we had a drop... and after a few dramas reloading, I pulled off a blitz on his ball carrier with the chance to score a TD in reply, but stupidly followed up into one of those ghost balls, we reloaded again and things looked much neater.. however instead of making that blitz.. my wardancer failed his first dodge and never even made it there. Having already pulled it off I was willing to accept some discrepancy from the original script but not this.. and I requested another reload. I ended up settling for a strip ball on the ball carrier, but for my friend Jarnauga the fun had gone out of the game with my insistance on the reload. Oh did I mention it was 5-2 at the time... was it perhaps really necessary to reload when I failed the dodge, as a Twahnlow whore im gonna say yes, but as a friendship thing it was a little shameful. Suffice to say 1 casualty, 1 completion and 1 TD followed my decision... Nuffles vindication perhaps? No matter. Jarnauga is still developing his use of the team, It looks very balanced on paper.. too balanced, with no glaring weakness it can be hard to play a negative game with such a team.. and this I think he found. I got to an early lead, and common sense kicked in, to avoid relegation it was more important for my team to remain intact, and hinder the others than for him to foul the bejesus outta it.. and thats what happened. Good luck avoiding relegation mate.. hope we can meet again... Ill try and figure out a direct connection by then :)

Twahnlows:

3 Votes to #3 Sergeant Angua - The most reliable and dominant player for the City Watch, pulled of a very slick touchdown and was a constant menace, with her fellow wolf nursing injuries she picked up the slack well.

2 Votes to #14 Mrs Drull - The other TD scorer, did plenty of rushing, snuck out of her cage well for the TD and also picked up a completion and the MVP.

1 Votes to #6 Lord Vetinari - This Agility 4 Wight is "mr go to man" for AMCW, rarely makes a mistake, and provides the team with a viable throwing game if required to go with his more than handy sweeping role in the team.

#16 Isis – Smashed Knee (NI)
Well looks like Rabid has covered nearly everything in his report. Simply this was meant to be a fun game against a RL mate, a one off that will hopefully not happen again, and it turned into a whingeing match after a dropout, with the match decided already in the Echo's favour. For the sake of some Twahnlows and another 3spp Rabid became a whingeing George Gregan. It was most saddening.

Twahnlows

3pts - Touchstone - With the sad loss of Karesh Var at the fouling hands of the Crowes in the first game of the season someone from the Echo's ranks needed to step up, and Touchstone did just that. 3TD's in a match winning performance.

2pts - Ra-Hel - The immovable Treeman anchored the Echo's line brilliantly, as well as grabbing a Cas for his efforts.

1pt - Cation
