“It was the Eyeslikethunder 100th Ranked game. So when the Challenge from Wietse and his Iron boot team came the parade was set and the drink laid on. This was going to be party and the girlfriend was away woo hoo. Wietse had fearsome reptuation and his iron boots a great record.
As the Iron boot caravan rolled into town the skies opened and the rain stated to pour. Sitting on his dark throne power Eyeslikethunder with two sabre toothed tigers either side of him(brought in for the occasion) he greeted Wietse and showed to his throne. The match kicked off with the Albion receiving they played possession blood bowl while dancing and dodging away from their less nimble opponents. The orcs were getting annoyed with this stalling tactics and demanded the Albion played proper bloodbowl the elves only laughed. But the orcs fed up with this cowardly play finally trapped the wood elves in the corner with Robinson scoring the TD. The Albion celebrated but had they used enough time to stop the Iron boot team from scoring. As the rain continued to fall the ball went deep to back of the field the orcs would have to bring it the full length of the pitch to score. The Iron boot fans seeing their team could do with some help had a little word with the ref in the break after his sending off of Oong. Wietse executed a well deployed attack on the Albions right side with several played touchdown scoring positions but ball wet slipped from Gutjja hands like piece of soap. the Albion took out the receivers and sent lampard and owen up field to harass the ball carriers. Gutjja getting hold the ball passed it to Xorag who promptly dropped it. The albion in a mean mood stunned both blitzers taking almost any chance the Boots would score. lampard grabbed the ball held off a challenge from the orc blitzer Brouga peeled away from his markers and failed a simple quick pass to to owen who was waiting in the end zone. Wietse sighed with relief he had a chance to crush these elves under foot and win the game. The second half started wood elf fans having word with ref too. The orcs in bad mood knowing they had get some elves off the field with the bridge quickly KOed. Seeking revenge campbell slipped trying to foul karthug. lampard who was up the field harassing the ball carriers was quickly stunned wietse had enough his antics. The Albion retreated a safe distance with beckham giving Karthug a kick to head that required him to leave the field. Wietse team made good progress up the field badly hurting neville and holding off the leaping Lampard. but gerrards made of harder stuff leaped into the cage took down the ball carrier. robinson seeing his chance grabbed the ball and passed it to owen waiting up field. he was promptly taken out by squk who was taken out by lampard. but lampard failed the simple pick and ball bounced into the crowd where an orc with great arm chucked it straight to orc pocket. the game was on again. suddenly Eyelikthunder's sabre tooth tiger decided his master looked awfully tasty . While the beast master was called and cat sacrificed to nuffle. The orcs were making good progress downfield battling their way throught the leftovers of the Albion team. Killing owen in the process. With time running out to save the game Wilug picked up the ball and ran for the line slipped on the grass and killed himself and apoth was unable to save to him.

So the game ended 1-0 to the albion a close and fun game that could have gone either way against good and friendly opponent. a rematch soon i hope
