The Hellbringers went into the game with only 4 out of 6 CDs. Although dominating possession of the ball in the first half thanks to killing the ref and fouling regularly whilst the Fighters also fouled back in return, the game was poised in the Jungle Fighter's favour as both teams had 3 players KOd, but those in the Hellbringers KO bin were much more experienced players.

The Fighters had a chance to score a last second (one turn) equalising TD but a perfect defence play and a perfectly scattering kick made the play too difficult for the Fighters to execute.

In the second half, the Fighters were at a huge advantage as again two out of three of the Hellbringers lineup refused to wakeup. The Fighters dodged pretty much without fail and set up a score just after half time after the Hellbringers had more and more players knocked out (including one from a Failed GFI with reroll).

The match was pretty much sealed there when none of the four KOd players in the Hellbringers lineup turned up on the next drive and they only had 7 players to face off against the Fighters 11.

The Hellbringers were in the process of setting up a difficult but possible TD when a player tripped (snake-eyes and I had two rerolls left on turn 7) and the Fighters were able to put an end to the Hellbringers threat of winning.

My opponent and I will disagree, but out of the good luck and bad luck that we both had, I think I had more of the latter. Making one out of 9 KO rolls for the match was a killer, wherease my opponent made most of his.

I shouldn't even have had more KOd players as his Skinks have Stunty, but that was the rolls today. My opponent hardly failed a dodge all day, but thought that my blocking was lucky, I don't think particularly so, nor does the luck meter for what little it is worth.

In the end it was a tightly contested match, but with me using a dirty player to foul in the first half whilst he used normal players for essentially him to have the advantage (over 200 SPP KOd vs maybe 30-50ish) didn't help me defensively in the second half.

I did have some good luck though on the kick off result at the end of the first half with a Perfect Defence making his one turn attempt very difficult.

I also had a two dice tackle blitz on his ball carrier halfway through the second half that netted me double pushes. A single pow or dodge/pow would have opened the game right up. But it was not to be as my opponent played well to secure the TD.

With 3 turns left and 2 rerolls I thought I had a decent chance to score still, but the snake-eyes on turn 7 before I got to move my ball carrier ended that.

Overall the dice favoured my opponent a bit too much, and he played well enough that he didn't need that advantage, apart from one mistake at the end of the game when he didn't push any players deep enough on turn 7 to threaten a score to steal the match.

Yeah, I am a grumpy whiner now ;P

I agree... the KO-rolls were the killer.
I would rate the luck quite even until this moment.
It was a nice match and we both fought brave and hard, but after the lucky-KO-rolls it was dicided for the tie.

And no.. your not a whiner.. you where a enjoyful opponent.
