#7 Rabbit Flesh – Broken Ribs (MNG)
Royal Beef have recently shown a flair for taking down very successful wood elf teams, and so I was smugly considering the prospect of another such victory, especially when I was winning 4-1 at the beginning of the second half. I foolishly pointed out that I had not rolled any snake eyes up until that point, and failed safe throws followed in rapid succession, allowing the Archers to capitalize and storm back to tie the game on their eighth turn. On the Archers Turn 15 they seemed to have a simple play for a td, but snake eyes foiled their day and gave the nearby Stewed Lamb a chance to redeem himself, however the fool tripped over his own feet and the Woodie catcher ran in the tying touchdown.

liquidorange played surgically, making small but key defensive changes that stifled our offense, and created the oppurtunities he needed to come back. It should also be added that although two of my td's can be attributed to kick off table results, the woodies earned all of theirs. A fabulous game against a fabulous coach, and I am sure we will have a rematch.

#7 Silvanus Hazelwood – Dead (RIP)
This was a phenomenal match against a great coach. Right out of the gate, his elves were all over me, beating me to the ball and generally giving the Archers merry hell as the wreaked havoc all over the pitch. The dogged Archers never gave up, though, inching their way back due to solid performances from Andrew Wallace MacPherson and Orion Dawnshire. The latter catcher proved his mettle, twice intercepting the ball against Stewed Lamb, with two failed safe throws (one of them rerolled to double ones).

I've never been so happy about a tie. This match is going on the team bio as one of the great moments. Thanks for the game, Phlogiston.
