“"Oh shit!" yelled Coach Oblitzamanger. The Captain, Blitzer Goberlunk, had just been badly hurt by Chaos Dwarf Weaponsmith while trying to screen the ball which had just been dropped by Lineman Harscarl. "This is not good," as one of his best players was carried to the dugout. Then, Bull Centaur Phantom picked up the ball as Blitzer Purnashet blitzed him into the ground. Harscarl then picked up the ball and raced to the opposite side.

But the Beatdown was ready to beat the Norsemen down as Blitzer Corelith was knocked out. The other Bull Centaur Jolrael knocked Harscarl down and then fumbled the ball. Karkerson rushed to get the ball, but he too was struck down by Hobgoblin Glider, and also carried to the dugout being badly hurt, after his team mate Deamorgan was badly hurt by Chaos Dwarf Patrol.

"This is just great!" yelled Coach oblitzamanger sarcastically. "Four players are already out of the game! Three for good! I don't think I prepared them well enough."

Blitzer Purnashet was able to get the ball after Minotaur Edge-bender knocked the ball carrier down. He fended off Phantom but they were surrounded by both Bull Centaurs and two Hobgoblins. Edge-bender, in a fury, got up off the ground and blitzed Jolrael, badly hurting him. Purnashet then dodged to safety.

However, Chaos Dwarf Soldier then smashed Cather Leaptron's collar bone. "Dammit!" yelled the coach as his team was getting pummeled. After being knocked down again, Edge-bender once again got up from the ground blitzed Hobgoblin Raging and badly hurt him too. The ball was safe for the rest of the half, but the losses the Raiders took were too many.

Oblitzamanger was too upset at halftime to say anything and only five Norsemen and one Minotaur took the pitch for the Raiders in the second half. As they kicked off, Hobgoblin Mountaineer was ejected from the game for kicking Edge-bender on the ground. Lineman Zorken was knocked out, and Chaos Dwarf Catapult smashed the collar bone of Blitzer Fomgate. Oblitzamanger was in disbelief as his team was getting beaten to pieces. He obviously didn't train the team hard enough.

Lineman Harscarl got his hip smashed in a nasty block as Purnashet teamed up with Edge-bender to prevent the score. With only three players left, it would be hard. Even though Purnashet was stunned, Edge-bender managed to trip up Chariot. As Edge-bender was then knocked out by a hard block, Chariot was too nervous to pick up the ball again. So, against all odds, Purnashet got up and blitzed his way out pressure, then picked up the ball and ran away inside the pocket of all the Chaos Dwarf players. However, he was stunned again and Phantom and Chariot failed to get the ball. However, on the last turn, Chariot got the ball and sprinted for a sure touchdown, when he tripped up on his shoelace and failed to score. 0 - 0

"You guys are pathetic! I spend all this time training you and you just get beaten up! We are very lucky they didn't win that match! There were only two of you on the field at the end!" Coach Oblitzamanger was berating his beaten team. "And you Goberlunk! Some captain you are! You didn't play for two minutes!"

"Watch yourself, or you won't get paid!" warned the captain.

"No, pay him!" yelled Neandurk. He was one of the two to stay on the picth the entire game. "I had great fun, and he did a lot of work to get this game together. He deserves a to be paid in full."

"But it was a massacre! Three of our players are out for good, including one of my best captains, who will no longer be able to fight!"

"I think the team can keep going," said Fomgate. "I just can't play anymore. But it shouldn't stop the rest of you from giving it your best shot!"

There was silence. Then, Coach Oblitzamanger said, "Then it is settled. I will schedule an easy match for us next game. I just hope that you all have learned that Blood Bowl is nothing like a battle. Knowing that, go clean yourselves up. A draw is a good result, and in a way, I'm proud of you."
