“"Yes!" cried Samuel Klicket in the dugout, right next to Coach Oblitzamanger. The Hobgoblin Nipper had just recovered the ball from the Ogres and ran downfield with Chaos Dwarf Quintian Petroclu. "This is good. It seems I will get my money's worth today!"

As they approached the endzone, Quintian yelled for Nipper to stop and hand off the ball to him so that he could be the first to score. Neither Coach Oblitzamanger or the team's sponser, Klicket, cared who scored, as long as they did. Quintian crossed the endzone and Nipper had a look of depression as the Chaos Dwarf took in his glory.

But the spirits of the other Hobgoblins weren't down as Scanthel then raced into the backfield with the help of captain Bull Centaur Hreal Mournshed, and got the ball. He ran it in with just a few seconds remaining. Oblitzamanger and Klicket jumped all over each other in joy as the team came back enthusiastic into the dugout.

Although the other captain Bull Centaur Lipren Hoosadd had been badly hurt already, the team was fired up for another great half. "This is great! These guys rock!" said Klicket.

"But you have to remember that we are only playing against five Ogres. Even though they are powerful, there are only five of them," said Coach Oblitzamanger.

"I know, but look! See? Hortet is running down the field, and the Ogres are tripping over themselves to get at him!"

Indead the Hobgoblin Hortet was making a daring move to the endzone as the Ogres were just barely unable to land a fist on him. He was luckily able to score later that drive, but only through the poor luck from the Ogres.

And when the Sledgehammers kicked off, they again recovered the ball, and Hortet tried a pass to Zurith just for SPPs. Somehow, the pass was complete, the story of the game, and the Sledgehammers came away with a 3 - 0 victory.

As Klicket jumped for joy, Coach Oblitzamanger collected some more money to help pay off his various debts. He also went over to talk to Coach Julia to thank him for the game and the re-load, and to wish his team good luck. "I hope you guys actually prove your point! Keep it up, and I'll be rooting for you down the line, except if you ever play me again!"

He then made a sacrifice to Hasphut and Nuffle right there on the pitch. Both teams made friends with each other and everyone enjoyed a post-match feast provided by the stadium's owner in exchange for each team purchasing an apothecary from him. All in all, it was an enjoyable afternoon...

In a later practice, Coach Oblitzamanger taught Hortet, who earned the MVP, to become more agile. Although this worried Klicket (since now it would be easier for the sneaky little git to escape), Oblitzamanger thought it would really help out in the backfield. He trained the team hard, for he knew that the next match wouldn't be as easy for the reason of sheer numbers.”
