I decided to let the first half score go as your Krox's were spaced out and not supported in the attempt to injure your stunts to reduce your numbers. After throwing a lot of dice to do this job I came away with nothing except quite a few RS/BH ("outmaneuvered my opponent" please;)
As for the blocked fling for the equaliser, I was expecting you to stand either your Krox or your fling to stop the Mino, which is why I had around 3 flings on standby, 1 with a chainsaw, to chop that eventuallity out of the way. Even if I had gone for the assist and blitzed with the ball carrier, as I had positioned him 4 squares out the previous turn I could have just pushed, not followed up and walk in for the equaliser.
The 2nd half you let your 2nd Krox get isolated and booted off. The rest was just a slow play to skill my BGs and ensure you only had 1 turn left at the end of the match.
Sure you had some bad luck but this was only compounded with some sketchy moves.
Hope my luck keeps up for the rest of the tournie? That was a so-so game.”

My tradition of not having the dice with me in tournaments was kept alive when the Amazonian Raiders met the Reflections I chaos flings.
I played decently in the 1st half, and despite my slow pygmies I managed to outmaneouver the opponent and land a pretty decent TD by turn 5. When the defense started M'Gori managed to free up a ball runner on the right flank within TD range with one turn to go. I blocked the way with my eagle warrior and put a Kroxigor so that I blocked any chance to dodge past the eagle warrior and run it in. Then I got greedy...in a sudden impulse to blitz his ripper wity my prone Kroxigor I tried to adjust my pygmy who covered his minotaur. Obviously he rolled snake eyes, enabling M'Kari to blitz my eagle warrior with his uncovered minotaur and calmly walk the 8th turn TD in with his fling.
Nuffle hates idiots, so after that he started tormenting me. Second half was just an endless string of failed dodges, injuries and humiliation.
It was my first tournament with pygmies, and they are a bit to slow to suit my tastes. There is also something uncharming with pygmies. Halflings and goblins got so much more character :D
