“This was a very tough and interesting game. Mateus fought hard and we were really lucky to win by scoring 1-0 in turn 8 second half.

The Sclerosis won the toss and started a good drive. In turn 2, Swamp Digger was killed by a mummy but saved by the apothecary. By turn 5 our opponents had two players in position to receive a pass for TD. However, we managed to break through to successfully blitz the ball carrier three squares into our opponents' half. With the ball in an ogre tackle-zone, two more ogres nearby and no enemies in range but the prone ghoul, things looked very good for us. But the ghoul Older One 2 got up, made two dodges to pick up the ball, a third dodge and two GFI to get into position and at last an accurate long pass to the hands of the second ghoul still on the pitch, waiting in a tackle-zone on top of it all. First complete silence and then the thundering applauds from the audience standing up to cheer this heroic turnaround! However, it was not yet a TD and during the last two turns we managed to prevent our opponents from scoring while the ball was scattering around our base line.

Second half saw a long Stone Age drive, constantly interrupted by cunning Sclerosis attacks. After a while our opponents were quite decimated but still continued to fight. By turn five, Rock Carrier broke free defended by four more players. At this stage Sclerosis had only four players to our eleven on the pitch. But their heroic ghoul Older One 2 attacked and downed two ogres on his own! By turn 8, we managed to get the ball free once again and Cavecleaner was able to pick it up and dash for the very late winning TD. Well fought Mateus and take good care of that amazing ghoul of yours!
