“Another impressive performance from the dice takes the Skirts to a 3-0 record (2-0 for this season's NWL).

The 1st TD was scored on the back of some solid and patient defense. Once the ball was spilled, the increasingly less lame lineman "Lamo McLino" scooped the ball and ran 16 squares for his 2nd TD in as many games.

The 2nd TD was opportunism at its best - with only 2 turns until the half, the Wild Wastelanders pushed players down-field to get into scoring position. However a short kick was fielded within range of a frenzied blitz from "Glenn McFiddich", and with all his players downfield (and nuffle definatly against him), coach Ug was hard pressed to slow Glenn down after the successful block, GFI and pickup.

The 2nd half saw the Clansmen's offensive unit for the first time. A deep kick and poor initial penetration left few options for Donnie McNabb (Go Eagles!), it was Long Pass or Bust and the thrower came up big with his only completion of the game. Razzle McDazzle took the catch cleanly but didn't have enough time to evade the defense. A nasty scrum ensued with virtually every player gathered within a tight radius. Eventually (after putting at least 2 beastmen into the injury box) "Munroe McBoat" came up with the ball and some clear running room for the score.

At 3-0 up and 11 players on 8, the Skirts went sniffing for their 4th TD. However they over committed to chase the deep kick-off. The Nurgles at last managed to put some nice plays together to exploit a careless hole in the defense. The Men in Skirts conceded their 1st TD of their short team history, but the Wastelanders played hard all game and really deserved TD after nuffle had screwed them all day.”
