Going into a game 43TR and 61TS down with 10 fit players a lot of hope rests on the dice but even with 3 reloads the luck-o-meter never troubled 50% meaning that apart from a couple of decent plays this game was largely a formality for the Stunts.

With the useful 'I am the greatest' and not so useful 'Virus' the Fury had to try to keep their numbers up but a failed blitz left Fear in surfing range but this was not required as the block left him injured for the 4th time in 7 games. Despite swarming Stunts stunties, Anguish passed to a blitzed free Ignorance to open the scoring.

Looking to score some passing SPPs the Stunts managed to fumble the ball on a couple of occasions, once allowing the Fury to grab it and to briefly dream of holding onto the lead. But after losing and regaining the ball there was a traditional Longbeard interception to allow the Stunts to equalise (without RRs) and stop a potential breakaway Fury TD.

The second half was a fairly tedious Dwarf cage rolling up the pitch with the few remaining Furies trying to say alive (achieved only with the help of the apothecary) and deciding that as the game was lost not to take advantage of the 'got' ref as the Stunts were more useful taking apart future opponents. Any chance of even a consolation pass were lost with a Stunts 'blitz' to cap a miserable night for the Fury.

At least no-one died.

Going into this match as the firm favourites the "Stunts" were unconcerned with this match up and were confident that the win was just a formality.

On the way to the match another arguement between "Eraser" and "Predator" begun over who would score the most TD in this match. Consequently these players refused (for the 2nd time in their careers) to enter the pitch together.

The stunts were unconcerned by this arguement and kicked off to the Darkies. The usual pounding began and although the ball was almost recovered from the elves, the stunts were too distracted by the possibility of breaking some of these guys to worry about stopping the score.

The rest of the game was another example of just how "exicting" dwarven tactics can be, with two slow grinds into the endzone. The elves were running in fear by the end of the match and relative new comer "Hercules in New York" even stopped for a picnic with his friends before scoring in the final minutes.

There was little this outnumbered Delf team could have done about this one, but thankfully the stunts didn't leave them unable to compete in the rest of the season.

With the next match the much anticipated game against "Shadow's Minions" the stunts will have to bring their A game next time round. Rumours abound of talks with ACME (home of the DEATHROLLER) and Grim Ironjaw in order to further bolster the stunts before what will surely be the match of the season!

Make sure you bring your popcorn for this one as the body count is sure to be high :D
