A match that looked grim for the dwarves from the get go, with Morg shoring up an already buff SlaughterHouse line. Kill-Gore somehow 'managed' to avoid his niggling injury, though for some reason the team was feeling all antsy-in-the-pantsy and looked sloppy lining up for the first kick.

Opening kickoff, the dwarves played like chumps, as their only trollslayer bravely took the line against Kill-Gore. Psyching himself up, he prepared to lay the smackdown on the hulking beast, only to realize he had perhaps slightly overestimated the thing's sheer size. Kill-Gore pounded him to the turf.

After that though, SlaughterHouse failed to capitalize in any meaningful way (and Little Seizure got caught placing a gentle hoof to a dwarf blitzer's foot), and after that the elves elves...er, I mean dwarves...played like champs! Their thick skulls kept them (mostly) on the pitch, they managed to mash Sluggo back with a crippling injury that the team's doctor barely managed to patch, and they made incredible dodges and ball plays to finally manage a touchdown, with slippery Pectin evading the clutches of a chaos warrior who had him pinned against the sidelines!

Slaughterhouse received 2nd half figuring on having to go to OT...when a critical failure! Gurn failed to pick up the ball right on the LOS, and the dwarves manage to recover!!! Amazing! Morg tried to nail the ball carrier, but only managed to push him into a fierce melee. The dwarves tried to break free for what would surely have been the win, but the Slaughterhouse line - and Sluggo in particular, finally held.

This finally shocked the so far ineffective SlaughterHouse side into action, causing 3 casualties in short order, culminiating in Kill-Gore killing a rookie longbeard! They then recovered the ball, and caged up downfield, with one more (caught) foul, this time at least taking Fructose off the pitch for the match.

SlaughterHouse stalled out the clock to send the game into OT.

Kicking in OT, the chaos were somewhat reassured by the dwindling numbers of dwarves on the pitch. When their last blitzer tripped up trying to sprint for a hail mary touchdown positioning, Morg (finally!) earned his pay, shoving the dwarf ball carrier up to the stands, where the fans favor SlaugherHouse with a fine throw in. At this point, the dwarves throw in (the towle) as well and SlaughterHouse takes the win choosing not to get greedy and massacre the prone dwarves. Especially given their record with the ref this game - 3 fouls, 3 ejections!

GG celas, maybe I did over gun it a bit, but then again, for a while there it looked like I wasn't going to pull it off anyway! Lets see if I can pull my finger out again next round! Duh-nuh-nuh!
