“Weep, oh citizens of Dark Water, for your favorite son has fallen! Chris Cougar, the heart and soul of the New Gypsies died on the pitch today in a match against the race that always devistates Dark Water somehow... skaven.

Ben Brimstone was playing the game in a fog, still shaken from dying and being badly hurt in the last game. Things looked promising when the rats would muff a pass, but despite their solid defense, the gutter runners dodged through and scored. 0-1. Nightsong would muff the kick-off pass and Valentine would get the ball from the feet of the rat ogre, but was taken down trying to get away. Ben shook off the spiderwebs to blitz the gutterrunner who had the ball, picking it up himself. Cougar crushed the rat Slash in an attempt to open up the field. Ben dodged out, but misthrew the ball, leading to another skaven td...0-2.

The Gypsies tried to score before the half, but Valentine would miss a catch. Drawbridge had to take down the gutterrunner trying to score. He picked up the ball but dropped the pass in the closing seconds.

Nightsong threw the second half kick-off to Jonez who died trying to dodge out for the td! luckily the doctor would save the young catcher... but at what cost? For not long after, the knuckledusting Leo would slay none other than Cougar himself! A hush fell over the crowd... McDamage grabbed the ball and threw a perfect spiral to Jonez despite pass blocking skaven. Jonez took in the TD in honor of Cougar.

The sweltering heat drove many players from the pitch, including the exhausted Brimstone. The Gypsies still itching for more vengance, swarmed the half dozen skaven. Granite would knock-out the rat ogre and Barracks hurt the Rat King! With the skaven running, Nightsong grabbed the ball and passed it to Valentine, whom would finally earn his first TD!

So the Gypsies enter a new uncharted realm, w/o Cougar and several players with persistent injuries. Still, there is a lot of talent spread out among the rest of the team. in fact, with Cougar gone, people have finally noticed how frickin' huge Kyle Killzone really is... hmmm....
