The match started with decent 2/3 decent Handicap results for the Woodies, Iron Man, I am the Greatest, and Virus. There being no nigglers with the Schola's, Virus was wasted.
The fans showed their enthusiasm to see blood right from the first kickoff, throwing a rock and KO'ing Jess on the elves side. Schola was receiving and started to follow through with more blood, and failed to pickup the ball with a reroll! A lackluster turn for the elves was followed by a successful foul by Bellator, while the ball was picked up and passed to the Claw CW Quod. Schola's third turn saw Buzz being fouled out by Carnero, who was spotted by the Ref and ejected. Turn 8 saw Quod scoring his TD, and a chance to allow more KO rolls for the elves.
2nd half saw one of the 2 KO'd elves recovered and on the field. This meant the elves had 2 SI, 1 BH, and 1 KO, leaving only 6 on the field to receive the ball. The whippers were innefectual during their turn, while Schola KO'd 3 elves in their turn, leaving only 3 elves on the field! A quick TD by Mortifer had the elves receiving again, with 4 KO'd elves recovering, putting 6 in the firing line again. A couple of fumbles on the ball by the elves ended up with Mortifer crossing into the endzone with he ball on the last turn for his second TD of the match.
42 Blocks against AV7, 23 with Claw, and only 1 Cas. Despite Deus' best efforts to get Cas for the Tahnlows, with 13 Claw blocks, he got 0 Cas. The fouling worked much better, with 4 DP fouls resulting in 2 MNG serious injuries.
The results could have been alot worse for the Woodies, with no permanent injuries and decent cash. This game would likely have been ALOT different if the elves had an apothecary in their previous 4 games, as they would have had 3 extra players that were killed, all 3 being the only injury for that game. Schola's head coach suggests you buy an apoth asap Woodies.
