Several times it looked like I'd win easily, but then his khemri were making 4+ and 5+ rolls look easy and took the ball away to score as the half expired.

Second half get a few ko's and cas to go our way, take the ball all the way down to score, 1-1, going to OT in this elite smack first-round match. I have 5 RR's, he has 0, 10 players vs 10 players (only 3 mummies, one tackle/MB blitz-ra dead). Looking good, right?

Up until the point I start playing like crap again and can't make my 3+ dodges (problem for much of the game). But while we couldn't dodge we could 2d block his choice a mummy out of the way and stripball POW his ballboy down, steal the ball, and race for paydirt. A bit of a scrum saw the ball pop loose again, but it was my turn to roll a few 4+ rolls to snatch victory from a (likely) coinflip advance.
