“A fairly bloodless game where St. Louis played well, but shorthanded, a second half fumble was returned for a TD that made the difference in the game. We started with 10 players and had 2 KOed first drive and they proceeded to fail to wake up for the next 3 opportunities. Playing 8 against 10 or 11 made it tough, but we played well enough to keep it close. However, with only 8 players facing 7 players of ST 4 or 5 in addition to the skinks, we made too many 1d and worse blocks - or made dodges...the result was using our RRs and eventually making one too many mistakes. Well played by the lizards! Surprisingly given the number of knocked down skinks and norse - no CAS all game from blocking.
Thanks for a fun and well played game!
On a more personal note, our team is certainly not off to a good start. In this game, it was turn 16 when Skip failed a dodge and was seriously injured and apothecary failed to prevent it. After the game we got to celebrate our first skill...which of course meant a failed aging roll :)
