Went into this game thinking i didnt have much chance of winning as teh Stunts were a far more developed team than mine. Recevied 3 handis, iron man being the only useful one really meaning i could leave one of my bulls in harms way all match ;)

That said this game was still very close despite the skills mismatch and 2-0 doesnt tell the whole story with the Kung Pow team knocking over the stunts ball carrier time after time but just not getting the breaks to allow us to score.
Coach Grit also cruially missed the STR4 dwarf when in scoring range in the first half :( and then later didnt spot eraser hiding in his own touchdown zone who brought my ball carrier down 2nd half when i thought the score was on.

I was always going to need luck on my side to pull of a win here, but sadlly, the turn 1 niggle aside it wasnt and the better team won.

Still 70k in the bank, FF unchanged and no permanent injuries... i would of taken that before the game! ;)

gl rest of season xenon, go break some heads ;)

The Stunts went into this match firm favourites against their much less experience chaos brothers.

Having moved the famous "Predator" to the coaching staff, the stunts were surprised to see Eraser arguing yet again with fellow team mates and he even sat out the entire first half.

Kicking first the stunts sat back and waited for the bulls to charge for the endzone, knowing that once isolated from the dwarven lineman they would be easily taken down and the ball recovered. Exactly as planned the ball popped lose and "Pumping Iron" had just enough time to finish the half 1-0 to the stunts.

The 2nd half saw the Chaos Dwarves blitz the stronger line and with a fluffed pass from "Eraser" managed to grab the ball. "Eraser" still wound up about the previous arguements wasn't having this though and promptly wrestled the ball back and began the run to the end zone. Some scrapy play from the stunts allowed the ball to pop loose a few times but with superior numbers and skill the dwarves were too busy bashing the other team to care that much and "Kindergarten Cop" was able to recover the ball in the last turn and hand it to "Pumping Iron" for his second score in the final seconds.

Now with the only other truely bashy team out of the way, the stunts are looking to cause some pain for the rest of the season and hopefully not conceed too many TDs from this agile league to secure their long over due promotion spot.
