Handicaps were:

I Am the Greatest
It Wasn't Me (taking out a Block Tackle Sidestep Lino)
Iron Man
Buzzing
Knuckledusters - all 3 given to a Str4 Blodge Lineman
---------
A very fun game vs a very fun opponent.

An early scare for the Blood Falcons who snaked a 2+ pass for a TD and had the ball stolen from them. The Embody did not see that the Falcons star Witch had Leap and she was able to jump into the half cage and and get a one dice Pow niggle (apoth used) and recover the ball.

Not surprising that my opponent didn't see the Leap as most of my players have a mile long list of skills heh.

Anyway, the Falcons scored with their 13 SPP Lino (at last who snaked a TD three games ago, then was SI MNG 2 games ago) and then got a Blitz! on the kickoff!

The Falcons had kicked short and onto the wing and were able to get a Str4 player under the ball who caught it. Surrounded by screening players, the Embody went for a -2D Leap Strip Ball Blitz that came up Double Skulls and a KO!

A funny moment of the game. The Falcons were forced to score immediately due to the pressure by Embody and this left Embody enough turns to try an equaliser.

Embody penetrated with 3 players through the middle of the Falcons line. The Falcons marked the players as best they could and then Embody managed a score after wasting a team RR on a needlesss one dice Blitz (Skull), throwing a pass over an interceptor, catching a 2+ pass, and making a 4+ and 3+ dodge to the end zone!

My opponent was not playing his best as he had lost concentration after going down 0-2 early and having 2 of his best players in the injury boxes early, but it was still an enjoyable score for both of us heh.

The second half saw the Embody receiving after the Falcons noob Witch Leah had foobarred her pass attempt to get to 16 SPP on T8 of the first half. Meanwhile, Dead Eternity made two passes and was also on 15 SPP and the race was on to reach 16 first!

Embody pushed deep with their AG5 players but under tight Falcons pressure, passed the ball out wide and deep. Embody were unable to put enough screeners in the way after their Leaper failed a GFI and KOd himself, leaving an easy gap for a Falcons Lineman with Guard to sneak around the back. The Falcons star Witch then made tanother steal (needing a 3+ dodge and some GFI) with a 2 dice hit and sent the ball out of bounds!

The Falcons recovered the ball, but did not do enough with it to defend it properly and Embody were able to get a two dice Blitz onto the ball carrier (no Tackle though) and knock it free.

Anyway, the Embody were able to pick up the ball, throw it over a Falcons player, catch the ball (2+ but used a RR) and dodge away for the equaliser. Game on, it was 2-2!

The Falcons on their drive were able to penetrate with 5 players after the Embody tried a Falcons defensive setup but without any Sidesteppers on the LOS heh.

In very Sunny conditions, the Falcons took their time looking for a score that did not need a 3+ roll. Embody played good defence to limit the Falcons options, but eventually were too undermanned as they had a couple of players KO and one BH and the Falcons were finally able to get a relative easy score with their Witch (2+ pass with Safe Throw and Pass, 2+ catch, 2+ dodge and 2+ GFI) to seal the match.
------------
Anyway, it was a very fun match and I look forward to playing lobocamaleon again. He was a great sport and did not complain about getting Bltized etc and made it a very enjoyable game. Good luck with your recovery and see you on the pitch again sometime.

I can only agree: a very fun game vs a very fun and better opponent. I have never played vs a team with this many skills but, of course, this is a rather lame excuse for my lack of concentration. I made many mistakes, and didn't even deserve the two TD's. A big thanks goes to my players for those, they did it, not me. A big thanks also to Malthor, for a fun game and some good advice. See you on the pitch soon, and hopefully I will master the Falcones-defensive-lineup by then. My players are already gathering some spp for the necessary sidesteps. And, congrats to Leah who beat Dead Eternity to the magic 16spp.
