“lemf is a pretty classic example of how CR doesn't tell you enough about a coach. He likes to run [R]anked teams full of nigglers (fun > CR), which means he looses far more than he should.
Anyway, this game was a bit of a comedy of errors, my possession first, snakes on turn 6, skulls re-rolled to skull-POWs (no block) on turn 7, and a failed 3+ handoff on turn 8 ends us at 0-0. Second half, lemf's team seem to do basically the same, and we scrummage in the centre.
The difference was my Mummies. My Undead have taken a pounding lately, and they are the only two players remaining of reasonable experience, and they did their jobs, getting rid of Thralls as the game went on. Eventually, my extra numbers won me the scrum, and a Ghoul sprinted off FTW.
Well played lemf, it's always a pleasure playing you.”
“This was soooo tight. Neither team managed to get into a good rythmn and both defences wore the offense down the score came late in the second half as the number of thralls and vampire dwindled.”
