“It was a rough game on the pitch for the rats. The first half we took the ball and it was a hard fought push towards the endzone - ultimately dauntless strip ball managed to knock the ball loose and a great bounce for the rats gave them the ball with a gutter runner in their backcourt. A coaching mistake prevented any chance of a blitz on the gutter runner...however, the rats failed to take advantage with an early turnover on a block and then finally the ball was knocked free from the gutter runner and Asp burst through the defenders to scoop up the ball for a TD. It did not get better as on the next drive Asp again got the ball and squirted free for another TD. It went downhill from there with the rats playing very uninspired for their coach - who refused to use the apothecary on a RIP because of the poor play of his players...yet that still did not inspire them to better efforts.
