“With the stunts on a 4/1/0 record going into this match and firm favourites to clinch the title they knew they would have to look out for the 3/1/1 lizards who were also chasing the promotion spots. A loss here would have left the promotion spots wide open and was definitely not an option for the stunts.
Consequently they called in their favourite runesmith and also Grim to pop along and lend a hand.
Nashwan's handicaps were:
Morley's - Removing an unskilled linedorf & Pumping Iron out for 4 turns

They knew from this moment that they'd be in trouble and elected to receive. The runesmith handed commando the Rune of Courage to assist in taking down those pesky Sauri and the lizards rushed the ball into the endzone to take an early lead. As they rushed past the Stunts concentrated on taking out their players and the already injured Saurus and Krox were the first to go.

Now beginning to become depleted Nashwan had 4 turns to hold off the 1st half equaliser and could do little as more of their men were sent to the dug out for early showers. With the score tied at the half and only 10 men left to face the now full strength Stunts, the game was up for the lizards. The slow methodical drive down the field just couldn't be stopped and 2-1 was inevitable.

The stunts gain promotion after 4 attempts and this time with a game in hand!
