Handicaps for Family Ness were KNUCKLEDUSTERS (Sporty Ness) and Illegal drugs (+st on Heavy Ness). No niggles, nice weather. Sweetorcs win the toss.

Well, coach Lobocamaleon (that is: me) plays lousy for the first couple of turns. On the other hand, BlackNWhite does some nice moves and chainpushes Careful Ness II in a blocking position on Truffle (our ball carrier). Still, Careful fails the block and stuns himself. Truffle runs towards the TD-line but is intercepted by three skinks. However, the onedice block only gives a pushback and Truffle (not known for wanting to stall) can score in the 5th. After the kick off, Baby Ness IV is boneheaded for a while, which helps us a bit. Polly makes a stupid call, not following up a nice blitz to put a TZ on the ball and Mrs Smashak. Then she fails a rerolled blitz (only getting double arrows both times) on Angus (one of two players in scoring position) and the Lizards can make a well deserved tie.
For the second half Sargent Smashak remains KO, otherwise both teams have full squads and the Lizards still have their wizard.
Cookie II gets KOd in the first turn by Sporty Ness. We want to take out a skink as revenge buy they are all nicely protected. We try to put some pressure on them but they move around to fast and hope sort of weakens when our Troll rolls double skulls and KOs himself. Some risky moves by Lizards allow us to blitz and get the ball, but we are struck (first time ever, both for team and coach) by a Lightning bolt which is followed by a foul causing MNG. 2-1 Family Ness. A few rounds for us to score and it goes....not so well. The Lizards play good defense and get the ball. Then however, they decide to hand it off, it falls, AND scatters to Lucy Moran. This allows her to dodge away and make a great pass to Polly who ties it in the last seconds of the game.
As always vs Family Ness a very good game. I still have a lot to learn about playing vs Lizards - I had trouble coping with coach BlackNWhites great positioning and with his 3 ST5players, even though I have far to many ST4players (I know). A tie was not really fair. I deserved to lose, considering some of my stupid mistakes. Thanks BlackNW and see you soon!
