“A knock down-drag out match! IBHoD, came in the better team on paper, but soon that would all change! With Forge missing the game with an injury, Vice was soon to follow on some unsubstantiated rumors of illegal activities! So the Icy Black Hand would be down to 9 players to La Cosa's 10!

The boys started off strong, with a mighty pass from Prez connecting with Sleet through the pouring rain and the hands of the defenders. Only Prez's skills kept that ball from being an interception. Sleet would storm in for the TD.

The Norse then got the ref for accusing Vice of... well... vice. Then tried their best to hold off the rotters. With the power of the boot, the norse cleared a rotter and the beast itself, holding off the score, but at the cost of a badly hurt Bruni. The norse would come back from half time, down to 8 (or was it 7?) men, to the rotters, now 9, since they lost a man to the ref kicking him out for a foul.

The norse put up a tremendous effort, but were not able to keep the beasts from finally getting the ball and scoring. Two of the Black Hand were knocked out within the first seconds of the half, so it was a heroic struggle. Odin was proud despite the tie. In the closing seconds, rookie Folkmar would toss a pass to Sleet, moving him up to the next pay scale.

So that is the second tie between the rotters and the norse. Should they meet again, the norse hope for something much different... good game Ball, and thanks for the patience with trying to figure out the whole firewall thing.”
