“Round 7 of Vet III:

Snake - one of the underdogs comeing into the tournament has finished a clean sweep with 7 wins in 7 games and none harder than against princevaliant and his excellent humans! It was quite a match of wills and diving players putting everything on the line. The game could have easily gone the other way, but AG 3 just does not deal well with diving tackle on either side.

Snake took the opening kickoff and drove the length of the field - killing a catcher (apoth worked) along the way. However, finally it came down to needing a dodge from the ball carrier and the humans would not stand for it - smacking him down hard and then they were off and running the other way...but the diving tackle skinks marked them as well. A tradegy then occurred as a catcher attempted to dodge away and a skink dove and tackled him...he was carried off dead. With a good pickup, Asp went down the sideline in a hurry and barely scored before the 1st half ended.

In the second half, the humans could only field 8 to the 11 lizards and that proved to be too much. Another attempted dodge was nailed by a diving tackle - this one a concussion and Git will miss his next game. With the numbers firmly in hand, Snake spent all their RRs trying to get the ball to Garden Snake, who on his 5th attempt managed to pick up the ball and then score on T16 for the 2-0 victory.
